Crushing Foreman

Crushing

Being a crushing foreman at Dubé means taking on challenges by the ton, experiencing the excitement of a young team and contributing to a positive atmosphere. It means managing the crushing plant directly on site, including coordinating and supporting work teams, controlling costs, updating reports, and planning and organizing work in collaboration with the project manager. He will also receive support and advice from the latter and will act under his supervision. Are you ready? Be Dubé! Status: Contract for the 2025 season that could lead to a permanent position Schedule: 7/7, 14/14 day/night rotation Place of work: Projects near Timmins or in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario   Tasks and responsibilities: Ensure the proper functioning of the crushing plant by monitoring health and safety, promoting team collaboration and maintaining a pleasant work environment. Work closely with the project manager, mechanical planner and management team to optimize and improve crushing plant operations. Manage, train, support and empower the on-site team, both in crushing operations and administrative tasks. Coordinate planned shutdowns, plan maintenance and repairs, and take preventive measures to ensure the proper functioning of the equipment and the quality of repair work. Guarantee the quality of the granular material by evaluating it regularly and adjusting the work if necessary. Perform administrative tasks, handle communications, produce reports and carry out follow-ups within the deadlines. Act as a resource person for the on-site team, the client and representatives of government entities visiting the site. Communicate daily with your team and gather information related to health and safety, good work practices and other important aspects. Effectively manage the priorities of several mandates simultaneously. Prioritize health and safety in all crushing plant activities. Status: Permanent full-time Schedule: 7/7 Place of work: Workshop in Rouyn-Noranda or worksites in Abitibi-Témiscamingue and Northeastern Ontario Tasks and responsibilities: Assemble various parts or components using the appropriate welding processes (semi-automatic arc, TIG, MIG, or other), in accordance with the plans or templates provided. Determine the optimal welding equipment and techniques, establish the appropriate welding parameters and select the necessary equipment for each task. Check the quality of the welds and the dimensions of the parts, ensuring that the welded assembly conforms to the template or plan. Interpret technical documents, including plans and specifications, with precision. Carry out regular maintenance and necessary repairs on welding equipment to ensure it works properly. Operate various machines such as saws and folding machines, in addition to welding tasks. Perform quality work in accordance with company standards and industry norms, specifications and standards. Strictly adhere to company procedures, particularly those related to occupational health and safety. Tower Operator - Northeastern Ontario

Crushing

Being a Tower Operator at Dubé means taking part in managing the crushing plant with the Foreman directly on site, including inspections, repairs, and daily reports in collaboration with the Project Manager. He will also be supported and advised by the latter and it is under his supervision that he will act. It also means meeting challenges by the ton, experiencing the excitement of a young, close-knit team and participating in a major mining project. Be Dubé! Start date: As soon as possible Status: Permanent full time Schedule: 14/14 day and night rotation – room and board onsite Workplace: Northeastern Ontario Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure the efficiency of the crushing plant by always keeping it full while ensuring health and safety, team collaboration and maintaining a pleasant working atmosphere. Work with the Foreman and the crushing team to optimize and improve the operations of the crushing plant. Carry out inspections several times per shift to validate if there are any problems and implement an action plan. Calibrate, maintain, and ensure that the openings on the crushers are respected. Participate in planned shutdowns, schedule maintenance and repairs and preventively ensure the proper functioning of the equipment as well as the quality of the repair work. Ensure the quality of the granular material by evaluating it and adapting the work as needed, avoiding any contamination. Complete time and production reports. Requirements: 2 years' experience as a Tower Operator Good communication skills and fluency in French and English Basic computer knowledge to complete daily reports Great versatility, resourcefulness, autonomy, and good team spirit Conditions: Competitive salary following experience.
